1) Even though I adore card games, I’ve never visited Atlantic City.
2) I enjoy my vegetables, particularly broccoli, cooked until they’re very soft. Crunchy veggies are not my thing.
3) I’ve never flown on a plane or gone on a proper vacation, unless you consider a three-day camping trip or a two-day visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame as one.
4) Although I’ve lived in NYC my entire life, I’ve never attended a Broadway show. *
5) I organize my money in the same way every time; however, I place the smaller bills at the front of my wallet, but at work, I do the opposite with the larger bills.
6) I’m not a picky eater at all (I’ll eat tongue, stomach, you name it), but I can’t stand drinking white milk because it tastes terrible.
7) I’ve been fascinated by sasquatches since I was three years old when I first saw one on an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.
8) I prefer extreme heat, high humidity, and no wind, but I’m not a fan of artificial heat indoors, as it makes my nose stuffy.
9) I believe Italian cuisine is a little overrated, even though it’s my background.
10) At 24, while taking the bus to visit someone in the hospital, I had a bad knee from karate and occasionally complained. I thought about the elderly and those who were dying who would love to be my age with just a minor injury. Since that day, I haven’t complained about pain or illness at all.
11) I tend to be quite emotionless and never express my feelings in front of others.
12) I only blow my nose when I’m in front of a mirror.
13) I really dislike Black Friday and everything it represents.
14) Independence Day is definitely my favorite holiday of the year.
15) I’m a huge fan of politics.
16) Baseball is undoubtedly my favorite sport, and Lou Gehrig is my all-time favorite player.
17) I find the Fall season utterly repulsive. From the dead leaves that create a mess everywhere to the uncertainty of whether to wear a jacket due to the ‘in-between’ weather, and the distance from Summer, it truly is the most unpleasant time of the year!
18) When I was about 13, I was really into unusual pets. I had turtles, tortoises, newts, frogs, and my absolute favorites were snakes. I was so fascinated by them that I studied them every day.
19) I’m really passionate about classic video gaming. I have 60+ gaming systems, over 1,000 games, more than 500 magazines, an online site, and I’ve even had my name featured in three different gaming magazines. I hold a world record in Monster Lair and created my own newsletter when I was just 18. Some of the games I own are nearly priceless.
20) I’m such a big fan of The Wedding Singer and Coyote Ugly that I make it a point to watch them at least twice a year (I even saw both in theaters). *
21) I’m really good with dates. I can tell you when I started and finished every job I’ve ever had. Feel free to challenge me on movie release years or any other specific dates, but just know you’ll probably lose.
22) I have the ability to catch flies with my hands. There’s a special technique to it, and my dad taught me when I was six. He was quite skilled at it too.
23) I can wrap my hand around my ankle. *
24) It’s a bit embarrassing to say, but until I was 23, I believed that every state was surrounded by water (I know, it looks that way on the map).
25) When I open a jar of Spanish olives, I like to sip a little of the juice.
Asterisk means that this is no longer the case
