So, how do you guys like the new look?

Went through a phpBB update and it was a pretty big one. The big ones are CAPTCHA anti-spam, a Quick Reply, and many other smaller things on my end. I'm gonna add some more mods, any suggestions? One I like is text hover when you click over a topic (and see the beginning of the text there). Another are FaceBook buttons. Any ideas?

Text hover has been added! Just point your mouse over a topic and it will tell you the first paragraph or so of the post (vBulletin does this). I love this mod!

Hey, welcome back! I just installed two more .mods to the board. Here's the first one:

Modification description: Will 'remind' users that they are members of a community by sending emails when
* not having logged in for a while
* not posted yet * registered, activated but not logged in since
* not having acted on above for a while (after first reminder)... The you better visit soon or ... email :P

Possibility to choose for manual or automatic reminding
Possibility to delete users (manually only)
Possibility to protect users from being reminded

MOD Description: Inserts the content of a post or private messages into the notification e-mail.

The first one is an outstanding way to remind inactive users about the board. The second one I can't wait to see in action. vBulletin has had this for years. Someone reply to this topic so I can check my e-mail to see if it's working!

Yeah, the instant e-mail notification says the new message right in the e-mail. Not as clean as vBulletin's, but it's a start.

BTW, which e-mail reminder did you get, the mass e-mail I wrote (I accidentally sent two of them), or the automated reminder? If you mean the automated one, what exactly did it say?
