Jurassic Park and The Haunting Starring Polterguy endings?

I rented, but never beat either game for the Genesis, and just wanted to know if anyone on here knows how either or both game ended.

The Haunting was definitely original and funny as anything, but not that great a game; I was at the end of the game during only the first day of rental, but never got past that end boss that was supposedly the dog.

Couldn't figure out how to beat those two raptors at the end of J. Park either, but then, when I rented that one, it was from a place that didn't have the instructions, so I probably missed out on some clues (or so I assume).

Anyone? Or just leave some comments on the games, if you wish ;)

Well, looks like I got my question answered about Polterguy, seems he does a victory dance and then gets slammed by an anvil (heh!), then there's a promise for a sequel (it sounds like), but that never happened, or at least not on the Genny anyway that I know of.

JP is one of my favorite Genesis games. I love the Sega CD version too.

To answer your question. If you play as Grant, after you take out the raptors, it shows you being rescued or going away in the helicopter like the end of the movie.

If you play as the raptor, you have to keep attacking the base of the T.Rex statue and eventually it will break apart and the bones will fall and crush Grant. After you beat Grant, it shows the raptor getting on to a boat that's about to leave the island. I guess it kinda hints at what happens at the end of the JP2 movie.

If memory serves me correctly, I think you either take them out with rockets, or use rockets to knock down the statue and it falls on the raptors like they do against Grant.

Must've been the statue then, 'cuz the rockets never seemed to do them any damage to the raptors themselves. Thanks!

That sounds about right. It's been a long time since I played that game, but I remember having to knock down a statue.
