HCG - The Happy Console Gamer Thread

Post by Zap! »

What does everyone think of him? I personally think he's outstanding, and love his episodes. Although his editing effects aren't flashy, his knowledge is second to none. Check him out.

He's not aggressive like AVGN, but I like the fact that he knows his stuff and has a great collection. He ranks Phantasy Star (SMS game) his favorite game of all-time (it's my 2nd), so I agree with him on many things too.

From what I've seen, he's pretty good. I need to watch more of his videos.

The only thing I would chage is his focusing on too much newer stuff. Other than that, I really enjoy his work.

He's very good and knows his stuff well, particuarly 1987 and up. Usually has a new video every week or two.

While I'm a big fan of AVGN, I love HCG's videos as well. While AVGN is more comedic and has flashy and goofy stuff, I like how HGC's videos unbiased and very informative. The guy really knows his stuff and through him, has got me interested in more obscure games and systems.

Another person I found and started to like on YouTube is Luke Morse (http://www.youtube.com/user/lukemorse1).

I found about about him through HGC. Luke's videos are very short and concentrate on small gameplay videos and console repairs, but he also has some cool videos showing off game stores in Japan and the various culture as well. He also posts multiple videos a week, sometimes a day!

Yeah, I found out about Luke through HCG too. Very good stuff. I subscribe to like 30 people. My favorites are HCG, AVGN, and Irate Gamer (he gets a bad rap, I like him).

New episode, G.I.JOE 17 DISC DVD BOX SET. Was looking forward to it after last week's Transformers.

Man, I wish I had the money to get both of those sets. It sucks having to settle for the individual seasons by themselves.

Too bad it's not in English, but still an amazing set.
