PLEASE Help me make my Classic Gaming channel better!

ATTENTION EVERYONE, I would appreciate any comments and feedback, I took a LOT of time recently giving my YOUTUBE channel a facelift, really wanted to give it a Classic Retrogaming feel while at the same time make it look very clear and readable. Have a look (CLICK THE LINK BELOW) and tell me what you think thanks in advance! Often I see some channels have a great background only to find the text unreadable because they set transparency to high or matched the font color to close to background etc, resulting in an unreadable mess and I wonder if they even bothered checking to see if their channel is even readable, I want a channel that reflects the content while remaining readable and not an eyesore. Keep in mind of course I am limited to Youtubes interface settings.
