Pretty dumb to mention the Vectrex, people didn't scoff at it (not that I heard of), to this day they still think it's interesting. Also dumb to rag on the homebrewers that are making very good games for it. But then, what else could you expect from someone who couldn't control the volume level when it switched from his off-screen commentary to when he was in his chair?

Same for the Channel F: what ELSE could it be compared to back then? That was all that gamers had, as far as programmable consoles back then.

Anyway, what were the last ones after the Pippin? Got the damn swirly thing where it kept on pausing out the ass, so I had had enough of it after like the 20th time and switched it off. Nice to see it though, I never really knew what that was.

Only one I hadn't heard of was that Japanese one, something about a "cartridge" or something in the title. Sounded bad indeed, what with those controllers that didn't leave the console.

The worst part about the internet is that even the stupidest asshole's videos get aired.

He sure was digging deep when he threw in the Vectrex and the Nomad. Every time I plug in my insanely weak and hated Vectrex along with a Sean Kelley Multikart, I can't help but feel dumb for enjoying such a weak console. :bonk:

Yeah. It's pretty obvious he's never played any of the excellent homebrews for it either, due to his comment about implying that people are still dumb enough to still be making them. Nine out of the last 10 Vectrex cartridges I've bought have been homebrews, think that pretty much says it all (although I wouldn't mind buying more of the original GCE games that I still have yet to add to my collection). Even though I'm no afficianado (sp? Can't even spell it! :P ) about "good" video games or not (since they're opinions, which peoples' are going to differ), there's been many a happy Vectrex fan that has these homebrews, especially when John Dondzila himself responded to a guy on the Spike's Big Vectrex Page message board once who was complaining about trying to play Star Fire Spirits on a keyboard. John said that was the first bad review he had gotten at the time. Most of the games on that cartridge CAN be played on the keyboard if you're playing the ROM--the Space Invaders, Tempest, Discs of Tron, Phoenix, Asteroids, Eliminator, and Breakout clones--NOT the clone of the Atari Star Wars vector game. Try blowing off the tops of laser towers with the Star Wars game in MAME with just a keyboard, no joystick, it won't work nearly as well as to having that original controller, or even a joystick.

Duh.

Hell, the guy might've never played the Vectrex either, now that I think about it (wouldn't surprise me).

Another one capitalizing on slamming how awful the Vectrex was...yet one of the two morons on there didn't pipe up to admit at one point he had actually played it ever.

Note all the mistakes in there, like constantly trying to blame Milton Bradley on it (only distributed it briefly, geniuses), trying to slam it for having no color (obviously these geniuses have no idea that adding color to vectors on a home system would have made it very expensive), ridiculously stated that people were constantly trying to use the system to play other games and Mine Storm kept on coming up (geniuses confusing using an over 25 year old system nowadays for when it was NEW? Wow, amazing f**ktards! Guess there's no such thing as CLEANING contacts and checking for loose connections or anything like that!), got the Intellivision and Parker Brothers thing wrong, tried to make it look like it sucked since it didn't last long at all (wow geniuses, there were over a dozen gaming and computer consoles [the latter was thought by many to take over and replace 'games only' consoles, which was a consideration, even though that's never happened to this day...guess the 'video game crash' never happened] and tons of software flooding the market), etc., etc.

Everyone with a YouTube account make sure and give it a one star rating.

Same here. On just about any console, I try and least find some positives. However, I have a hard time finding any on the Fairchild Channel F and RCA Studio II. :)
