I've made two lists. One features my Top Ten games designed exclusively for the 2600, and another Top Ten listing my favorite arcade ports. Both are in alphabetical order.

Lotta love for the old Activision now, eh? ('Course most of us did...)

Yes, I've always considered Activision to be the best producer of Atari 2600 games. True, many of the games I listed are obvious derivatives of arcade games (ENDURO=POLE POSITION, CHOPPER COMMAND=DEFENDER, etc), but the wizards at Activision managed to make them graphically cleaner and with less flicker than the official Atari versions.

Yep, no argument there at all, especially in regards to the solid graphics!

I know it's weird, but I also liked Halloween for the 2600.

I consider it the first "survival horror" game, or at least the first one I played.

Haunted House might have something to say about that.
