Re: Phantasm on the Vectrex; wtf?!
I'm down for it! Hopefully it will be better than the 2600 version. Have you seen the Evil Dead 2 for the 2600 yet? Talk about obscure! That one's actually fun to play though, it's a hack of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I want a Vectrex 3D imager so bad! Next time you see him, club him over the head and take it next time you see him.

Re: Atari 2600 Air Raid box found?
Ehh, I don't know. I know what it's like to have a rare game and have people call it a fake just because details are so sketchy, so i definitely don't want to call it a foul. If it IS fake, it's a pretty good hoax. It does seem kind of fishy how someone says "hey look what I found! Now it's on ...

Re: The rarest/most valuable games of each decade
Cool, thanks for some insight into Mister Boston there :) No problem! I don't write much about it because there's two or three guys out there that are real pricks about the whole thing. I remember years back posting a pic of my copy at Digital Press or something and these guys were flaming me sayin...

Re: The rarest/most valuable games of each decade
1980's: Stadium Events for the NES easily wins the most valuable, but it isn't the rarest. That distinction probably goes to Air Raid for the Atari 2600. Does Air Raid trump anything from the Adventurevision? And how does it compare to the Vectrex's Mr. Boston? Interesting topic :) I honestly belie...

I hate that guy (Irate Gamer). He's one of those guys that if in real life was sitting next to me, I would be seized with this uncontrollable urge to punch in the mouth. Something about him grates my nerves. Re: Kool Aid Man on Atari: it's actually not a bad game. It's one of those funky Intellivisi...

Re: What systems do you have?
After nearly a year, I have to update this list as I've added several consoles. I updated mine too, but I didn't add anything. I've sold quite a few in the last year, and a lot of the pending deals I had going on fell through. I don't want to get rid of anymore either, it hurt me to get rid of what...

Re: The Rarest and Most Valuable NES Games
Of the ones listed, I have Bubble Bobble 2, Snow Brothers, Ducktales 2 and Stackup. I used to have one of the Myriad carts, but I sold it many years ago. Bubble Bath Babes I sold about five years ago for (I think) about 40.00- I clearly should have hung on to that one. The part that lists "Addi...

I've got one of them, but it's incomplete. I don't have the skeletonized controllers either. It only plays Japanese NTSC.

Re: Should We Clone Neanderthals?
I think we should clone them and make them perform menial tasks in a slave-like capacity. Eventually there will be a Neanderthal uprising in which they take over our world and proclaim themselves our overlords, and enslave us all. Kind of like Planet of the Apes, with less fur.

Wow, that really came down in price. When that book first launched it was selling on Ebay for 40.00 and up, which is what kept me from ever ordering one. I think I'll get myself a copy now that there are used editions out.

Re: CD32 and AMIGA Coverdisks MY NEW VIDEO!
I missed this thread too, but I remember the video.
I have several Amiga mags, too, and all the lengthy write-ups in Retrogamer make me want to investigate this system more. Anyone know of any good emulator/rom collections that will run on XP?

I have the Halo edition, but never scored the Mountain Dew edition. I want one really badly, too.
