Re: Few Atari items

Towering Inferno's interesting, not a bad game, I think. Hadn't played Turmoil.

Congrats on the pickup, new (to you) catalogs are good :)

Re: What the hell is this system?

I think that system (not sure though) is like the Microvision in a way, where it doesn't have a CPU, the cartridges do. If it wasn't this one it was some other rare system. You may be thinking about the original Odyssey. The games actually had the CPU unit and the system was basically a jumper cond...

Ahhh, forgot about Quartet, I second that opinion as to it being a good game ;)

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

Yeah, just the first one, the Vanished Omens. Not bad, but also not a real long-playing game, although you do have to map out one area.

Re: What the hell is this system?

It LOOKS really cool, although graphically it leaves something to be desired. I think that system (not sure though) is like the Microvision in a way, where it doesn't have a CPU, the cartridges do. If it wasn't this one it was some other rare system. No, I'm pretty sure it's this one, since, when I...

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

Global Defense is good, although short. Think the Sonic the Hedgehog ones are too, the guy I bought mine from didn't have those, so I haven't played them. Zillion's a good shooter/somewhat puzzle game, although also short. Some of the Alex Kid games are good too, as well as Shinobi and Ys. Golvelliu...

Re: Vector game fans?

Oh yeah, thanks for that, I had only heard a couple of vague mentions of that on the net, but didn't really know anything about it, since that game wasn't released here in the States. I probably would've been hanged for not including that one... Speaking of which--although I really, really shouldn't...

Re: What are your favorite video game soundtracks?

Y's 3 for the Genesis, I made a nearly half hour recording of that music when I rented it. Sub-Terrania for the same system also has some good, spacy music to it. Doom and Doom 2 has decent stuff, as well as Stellar-Fire for the Sega cd, as there's a couple of metal tracks, ambient, the intro is cla...

Not that you're bitter or anything ;)

Probably a spambot anyway, no need to waste time typing, although I know how it feels.

You are familiar to me too :), YouTube, AtariAge...... Ah cool! Hopefully I can finally redo the Vectrex homebrews slideshow on my crappy channel in June, since I don't live by myself at the moment, and the rest of the household will be out of town. 'Cuz I'll try downloading a program then that wil...

Must've been the statue then, 'cuz the rockets never seemed to do them any damage to the raptors themselves. Thanks!

Cool, thanks!

How do you beat the raptors though? All I can remember is shooting off every weapon I had and nothing would seem to kill them.

Re: Jurassic Park and The Haunting Starring Polterguy endings?

Well, looks like I got my question answered about Polterguy, seems he does a victory dance and then gets slammed by an anvil (heh!), then there's a promise for a sequel (it sounds like), but that never happened, or at least not on the Genny anyway that I know of.

One down...
