Re: What's up everyone?

Yea, my fiancee and I have always seen the Wii as a "secondary" system. We had a Wii a few months ago with Wii Sports Resort, TMNT: Smash-Up, and Dead Space: Extraction. I had a blast with DSE, but WSR was just like the original Wii Sports, and more fun as a party game, and TMNT was boring...

What's up everyone?

Hey guys and gal(s), Sorry I haven't posted on here in ages. Been really busy still trying to find a job and planning my wedding in March. I'm gonna try to post and contribute more often. I feel bad for not tending to my modly duties, lol. Sad to say, I haven't done too much classic and retro gaming...

Re: Whew, had a nasty Trojan and couldn't use the computer

Not much going on here. Been screwing around with the Wii for a while. Dead Space: Extraction is pretty damn fun for an on-rails shooter. Downloaded Contra Rebirth yesterday and played that all day. Fun game. Reminds me of Contra III: The Alien Wars on SNES. Outside that, not much else. Been thinkin...

Re: Houston gaming expo!

A bit far for me, but if it was closer to Dallas I'd be there for sure. Sounds like fun.

I'll prolly be at the ScrewAttack.com's Ghouls and Games get together in Dallas on Oct. 30th.

My iPhone I got from my old job died a while back. So I got my in-law's old Pantech Slate. I'm gonna get an iPhone 3Gs 32GB when I can upgrade next year, if there's not something better by then.

Re: Anyone playing The Beatles: Rock Band?

Yeah, I'm a pretty big Beatles fan. I think I'm gonna sell my Rock Band 2 set and Beatles, and pick up Guitar Hero 5. I played Beatles all day the day I got it, and maybe have only touched it three times since. After you 5 star all the songs, view all the pictures and documentary content, there's ve...

Anyone playing The Beatles: Rock Band?

Picked up the PS3 version (game only, not the $250 set). Spent all morning playing through the entire game. Only took me about 3 1/2 hours to go through the main story, but then again, it's only 45 songs. Now I'm going back trying to five star all the songs and get all the trophies as well as all th...

That's pretty sweet! I want to get that along with the newly announced Data East collection. I still need to get Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection too.

Re: Favorite (non video) games?

Once I got into junior high, I got into HeroQuest big time! What's with the dice with the symbols on them?[/quote] I think if you got a skull, the enemy hits you, if you got a shield, the enemy blocked, and if you got a star, you hit the enemy and the other dice was to see how much damage depending...

Heh, my sister's a teacher too. What's your fiance teach, and what grade level? Bad timing on MY end to dig up this old game called Laser Attack, get addicted to it, then the nephew goes back to school :P I've got a few things going on, not going to say much about them for the moment, case I jinx t...

Re: I am sure you guys have heard about this already

I hope it makes a strong comeback. I've been a fan of EGM for many years and considered it the best video game magazine as well as my favorite. The only mag I felt gave honest and unbiased reviews. Now I really only read Game Informer, Official XBOX Magazine, and Nintendo Power

Anyone up for making/joining a fantasy football league?

Looking to maybe create or join a fantasy football league. A lot of people I usually play with don't take it seriously though and give up less than half way through the season if they're not winning.

Anyone want to start a Zap! league?

Noticed the forum hasn't been to lively lately so I just wanted to see what everyone is up to these days.... As for me, I'm still unemployed. Job market sucks balls out here. I've had some bites here and there, but have only been on three real interviews since I got laid off in July. I guess on the ...

If so, how are they? I'm having a blast with SFIV, but looking for a new fighter, at least until Tekken 6 comes out. :D

Lukemorse1 leaves Youtube on a extremely sad note :_(

I'm sure many of you know who Luke Morse is. My heart pours out to him; as tragically, he became too consumed in his hobby and could possibly lose his family. I just discovered him a month ago through HappyConsoleGamer. I've seen most of his videos and I really admired all the passion, enthusiasm, e...
