Re: Anyone have a Wii?
I have a Wii, but currently the only Wii game I've been playing is Animal Crossing: City Folk. The game is crazy addictive like the GC and DS versions. But to be honest, I getting more use out of the VC. I've been play a lot of Metroid and Dracula's Curse lately. Then again, games that are on the wa...

Re: Genesis or SNES guy
In the 16-bit era, I was a huge fan of both, and eventually had both systems. Genesis had great sports tiltes like NHL, Madden, Sports Talk, and Mutant League. I believe they had their fare share of RPGs to compete with SNES like the Phantasy Star series, Shining Force, and Shining in the Darkness. ...

Re: Games that were previewed in gamer mags...
Thrill Kill! It actually plays a lot like the Wu Tang game. I've got two different versions, one is about three quarters done and it's horrible. The other one is like 95% complete, and it plays well. If you have a modded PS One, you can find the Rom fairly easily on the web. I found this review tha...

Re: Games that were previewed in gamer mags...
The one I wish came out was probably Thrill Kill. I remember reading about the story and characters and just being blown away by it. And the promise of blood, gore, and violence that would make MK look like an E rated title along with 4-player matches, I was sold. Too bad EA thought it was too viole...

Re: What's your favorite classic Atari System?
I'm voting for the 2600, because believe it or not, it's the only Atari system I've ever played. I remember spending hours playing Pole Position, Pac-Man, and Berserk.

The rise and fall of the arcade...
I'm a little bored right now, so I devised this little questionare... 1. When was the first time you remembered being in an arcade and what did you first play? 2. What is your fondest arcade memory/memories? 3. Are there any arcades left in your area and if so, what's the latest game they have? I gu...

Re: Game.Com
Game.com was such a disappointment, IMO. I remember when I asked for one for Christmas sometime in the late 90s. I got the system with Batman, Jurassic Park, and Resident Evil 2. I don't remember too much about it other than the music and sound effects were horrible (sounded all garbled) and my frie...

Re: Atari Lynx
We have a chain here called CGX that specializes in older/classic games and consoles. I've seen the first model Lynx around a few stores. I don't thing the console is hard to find as the games are.

Is that an actual Nintendo product or a clone? It kinda looks like one of those fake systems like they sell at the kiosks at the mall, lol.

How about a chat room?
I think it would be nice to have some kind of chat room where we could all get together and chat about games and whatnot. Get to know the members a little bit better.

Yea, kids today have no idea what they're missing/missed. I try to get my nephew into the classics but he'd rather play Call of Duty and that "other good war game" on his 360 *shakes head*

Re: One Small Suggestion
Could we maybe have the "r" put in the word introductions in the thread heading? Its not a huge thing by any means, it just looks more professional. Explain, I don't really understand what you mean. What "r"? :?: The link on the main page says "Intoductons", not IntRod...

Re: Another Classic gaming site - COOL!
I hear ya man. I got a Wii and I own and play more Virtual Console games on it than actual Wii games. When are they gonna bring the 2600 to the VC? Maybe a pack of games for $10, that would be great. That would be cool. I know in Europe they have Commodore 64 on the Wii. Why not bring that over? I'...

Re: Forum for imports
A sub-forum to discuss imports would be nice. There are tons of great imports for Saturn, Turbografx/Duo/PC Engine, and Famicom. That sounds like a good idea. Where do you think I should put it? In the modern sub-forums or under Specialty forums? I would prolly say Specialty forums just because imp...
