Ha ha, I remember seeing that first pic in a gaming mag long ago. It was a spoof of that Janet Jackson Rolling Stone cover, right?

Re: Anyone read or subscribe to Retro Gamer magazine?
I've been reading Retrogamer for the last three years. I've got their first thirty issues on disc, and most of the issues from #40-now. If you think 11.99 is high, they were 14.99 when I first started reading them, then 13.99, then 12.99, and now 11.99. Retrogamer is a double edged sword for me. On...

Anyone read or subscribe to Retro Gamer magazine?
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z303/bigloco8099/rg_060.jpg I started reading a few months ago with issue 53 (Origin of Konami) and have been hooked since. I really like reading about people's collections and the articles from developers and programmers past and present. The monthly price guides...

Re: Games you hate that everyone else likes
Frogger. Growing up, everyone I knew loved it, but I just didn't get into it. Kid Icarus. I really, really, want to like this game, but it's just so damn difficult that I can't play it for more than 20-30 minutes. Metal Gear series. Like Kid Icarus, I really want to like this series, but I just can'...

Virtual Boy
Anyone here have or ever own a Virtual Boy? Did it really give people headaches after 15-30 minutes? Are there any games worthy of a Virtual Boy purchase?

Re: Do you own an arcade machine?
I wish to some day own a 4 or 6 slot Neo-Geo MVS cab. I'd definitely thrown in SvC: Chaos, Garou, Neo Turf Masters, Metal Slug, and some Sam Sho. I'd also like to have a WWF WreslteFest, original Donkey Kong, Pac-Man/Galaga cocktail talbe, and a USA vs. Russia bubble dome style hockey game.

Re: What are some of the worst games you have played?
The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare on SNES. I remember that you played as Bart and was in this dream world and had to jump onto "homework assignments" and you would play a random level and the outcome resulted in a graded paper that would be on the fridge and Marge and Homer would be mad or ha...

A sad Christmas story...
I got one way too late. In the late 90s, my friend and I were obsessed with Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, and 2-D fighters. I remember begging and begging my parents to get me one for Christmas, and I finally got one that came with VC and VF, and I also got one of NHL games and Street...

Re: I'm in
I feel for ya man. Nothing sucks like having to sell off consoles and games during hard times. I've had to do so quite a few times myself Hopefully things will turn around in the new year and I can get my Sega collection back.

Re: AVGN- Angry Video Game Nerd discussion thread
LOL. I just finished watching the Milon's Secret Castle episode about 10 minutes ago. I only found out about AVGN a month ago when I was looking up Top 10 best "insert console here" games on YouTube, but I've been a huge fan since. Whether he's acting or not, I find his reviews hilarious. ...
