Re: How about a chat room?

Ok, so I think for the first time in weeks, we have 4 people online at the same time right now. Now can we have a chat room? :P

Re: Highest priced console

My current girlfriend is awesome. We've been together for 16 months now, and it gets better every day. She actually encourages my hobbies and used to manage two different game stores, so she's pretty much into games as much as I am. The only difference is that she's into newer consoles more, wherea...

Re: So...

I thought a lot of forums frowned upon promoting other sites/forums. Like it takes away from what they have set up (if that makes sense). Outside of this forum, I'm on the neo-geo.com forum (I go by SegaBoy on there too), but I don't post on there too much as the majority of the members that post th...

Wonderswan Color/Crystal

Anyone own one or has played one? Looks like it had some fun shmups, FF ports, and features, but got crushed by the GBC and GBA juggernaut.

Re: Highest priced console

I only have a Wii right now, but as far as rare/obscure stuff I've owned in the past... Import Gamecube (I got it right after the JPN launch, and before US launch. It was pretty cool at the time) Neo-Geo JPN AES (not necessarily rare/obscure, but I don't know many people that own one) Neo-Geo JPN CD...

Re: Anyone here a baseball fan?

Count me in. I live in Dallas, so I watch the Texas Rangers, but since management wants to blow money on washed up, has been players instead of decent pitching, we're always out of contention three months into the season. I'm more of a Yankees fan though. I'm not a band wagon jumper like most fans t...

I had a FC Twin once, but returned it since it wouldn't play Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. :( That's my all time favorite Castlevania came after SOTN.

That's what I mean. CGX and another place called Movie Trading Company sell old consoles like SNES and Genesis, but for $50. :chairshot:

Where do you guys find your games?

What's your best source for finding retro games and consoles? Outside of eBay and forums like here and neo-geo.com, I don't know of many other places. I may find a rare gem at a thrift store or garage sale, but that doesn't happen too often around here. There's a chain here in the Dallas area called...

Evil Dead on C64? Hmmm. I'll have to look into this.

Re: I got a PS3 today

I got a PS3 for Christmas and sold it after a month. There's just no real quality games for it right now. The top games available for it are also available on the 360. The only exception is Little Big Planet. That game is a blast, especially if you have other people to play with. The Dark Knight is ...
