Re: Atari Lynx

I got my Lynx for Christmas, 1989. I've seen them in the wild, nothing too uncommon. Once in a while you'll see one on Craigslist, often asking way too much for it.

Actually, the handhelds section is for dedicated handhelds, so you were right to post it here. :)

Re: Game.Com

I recently picked up a bunch of Game.Com stuff (2 CIB systems & 16 games for $22 and then 4 games & another system I traded for) and although I've heard alot of bad reviews of this system, I actually kinda like it. Expecially Resident Evil 2, Duke 3D and Centipede. I'll admit that there are...

Re: Classified Ads Suggestion

I think it may be a good Idea to break the Classified Ads section into For Sale and Looking For sub-sections I actually plan on doing that, but I'm gonna wait for more users and posts. Right now it's not too bad, with only two posts in there. But if it gets to 10 or 20 posts per day in Classified, ...

It's no big deal, though- it just takes me awhile to get used to new things. I plan on getting a 360 sometime around 2011.
I still didn't get the regular 360 or PS2. :)

It's a longshot, but is anyone up to making a Zap! logo?

Who's really talented in Photoshop? I'm looking for a graphic logo with the name "Zap!" and maybe something classic next to it, like an Atari joystick, a game in the background, etc.

Re: Hey there!!

Hi, everyone. My name is Thom. I'm a 28 years old brazilian gamer. I heard about the site on DP, and decided to chek it out. I've been playing videogames since I was 6, when my parents gave me an Atari 2600 for birthday. I'm a fan of the classic, pre-32bit systems, mostly because those were the sys...

Awesome, I just got topic reply information e-mail (you will too as long as it's set). Now the next thing to fix is the signatures, then adding smileys. :)

Re: E-mail problems

Well, I am using my e-mail address from Verizon FIOS, with their SMTP settings. I take it Verizon is the problem. Are there any other free e-mail accounts that give the user SMTP settings?

Re: Adventure II

Hopefully your controllers are still working :o I was never able to get into the original Adventure, but a good friend of mine has Adventure II on an emulator, and really enjoys it. The gameplay certainly looks smoother than the original Adventure. I personally loved the original. So much fun findi...

I think the forum style just does everything a little backwards. The avatar on the right is unique to me.

Up until the mid-90's, I had the enite collection. Check out the earlier 1991 issues, and look up the name for the high score in Monster Lair. Tell me what you see. :)

Adventure II

Does anyone have this homebrew for the Atari 5200? I picked it up last week from Jess Ragan. It looks great, comes with maps, a key, etc. Haven't gotten to play it yet, I first have to dig the 5200 out of the closet. :)

Re: One Small Suggestion

Could we maybe have the "r" put in the word introductions in the thread heading? Its not a huge thing by any means, it just looks more professional. Explain, I don't really understand what you mean. What "r"? :?: The link on the main page says "Intoductons", not IntRod...

Re: Nintendo 64

Would that be included in the 6th generation, or does that fit into the generation labeled 32 bit? Given the fact its cartridge based, I'd consider it more of a "classic" system nowadays, but hey, it's not my forums. I think I have to change the name of 32-bit, because it fits in there mo...
