Re: Hey hey!

There's still at least three in there, as I got five copies of one e-mail, along with getting an error when I tried to reply to one, plus I got no e-mail notification of any of them or else I would have *tried* to respond quicker.

Vector gaming forums :)

Being a cross of the old Vectrex forums (R. I. P.) and a vector gaming forum on Yahoo! Groups (also long dead!), the vector gaming forums takes things a few steps further by also having discussions on raster vector ports and even current vector-like online and portable device/cell phone games. There...

Nice to join this crew :)

With my car being out of commission for a while, I can't really get to resale shops that often. So, it was nice to be able to hit a jackpot last month when I went to a local place. Take a look! *Three Sega Genesis' *Three Genesis controllers *Sega Genesis RF box (out wire to tv cut though but it cou...

Re: How do you get out of here?

You're a bunch of cyberspace whores. Who are these 'whores' you're talking about when there isn't much activity on here? I guess I'm trapped in this circle of hell forever. Do some research. This is a phpBB site, not Proboards, where you can self-delete your account. You can leave a message for Zap...

Re: Anyone into emulation?

The thing is though, probably most entities holding onto old titles aren't fans, they're just holding onto them to build their portfolio, or whatever, as it looks good to have investments on stuff that isn't yours in case you have to liquidate titles or whatnot. Granted, someone who knows more about...

Re: Some ideas I had for some new sub-forums

Well the thing is, this place has never had that many regulars. Once the few people we had took off/had problems/forgot, or whatever, it went dead. There IS a resurgence going on right now.

But I never left, just for the record :P

Because copyright law says you can't, that's why. (Not that I care though, just pointing it out. Game on!)

Re: The rise and fall of the arcade...

Now if I can just find someplace that has Bally's ROAD RUNNER, a 1971 driving game that used a mirror and an actual three-lane racing track where you had to avoid crashing into little Matchbox-like cars. Wow, that'd be monstrously hard to find nowadays...even in the previous 15 years! Sounds like g...

Donkey Kong's still a 'must have' for the system though, even with its couple of bugs and missing fourth screen (like most versions of it back then) :)

I don't really see a need for them to come out with new ones until then anyway.
