Re: What's the rarest classic game you own?
I don't own any super rare titles, but I do own a fully functioning Sega Saturn and ten or so games.

Re: Games you hate that everyone else likes
I can't really say I disagree with many classics, but I really hate games like Halo, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, and just about every other new game everyone thinks is "amazing".

Re: Game.Com
It's actually an emulator a couple of Russians bought from Tiger. They never released it to the public, so no you can't get an emulator. I think they plan to try and make homebrews with it as they bought an entire Dev kit. Oh wow I wasn't aware of that. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some hack...

I'm pretty fond of playing SNES/Genesis gems via emulation.

Re: Virtual Boy
Almost bought one back in '95 (I remember Toys 'R Us" had them on sale for $14.99 lmao); I think I bought some Saturn games instead. The AVGN video for this is hilarious lol.

Re: A sad Christmas story...
What's even worse, is that when I took it home, the game turned out to be ass, but the anime store wouldn't let me return it. I was so pissed off, I got all my Saturn stuff and went to Funcoland and traded everything in for a Nintendo 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. OoT is probably the only reason t...

Re: The rise and fall of the arcade...
I was born in the late 80's so it wasn't really until 1994ish that I discovered the arcade. I used to visit this amusement park with my family quite often in the summer, and I would just spend the entire day in the arcades playing games like Mortal Kombat, Terminator the Arcade Game, and various Tee...

Re: Game.Com
I remember seeing these advertised through K-B Toys in the late 90's. The only game I've ever seen screen shots for was Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and it didn't look too impressive.

Re: Sega Saturn
To me its more of a curiosity. I've never played it, nor do I even know much about it. It seems to me more like an urban legend than anything else. No one I knew even had one. You never see them or there games in pawn shops. I don't remember them getting a whole lotta press. I have a group of frien...
