Re: Yankee Peddler Day flea market

Good deal! I have a similar one in a box somewhere but I don't think it's a StarFighter. Looks pretty much the same though but the joystick is different and uncomfortable as hell. The SFs look way more comfortable.

Re: MaximumRD immortalized in actual Colecovision ROM!!!!

Yeah, that's pretty cool. I got a thanks on a Vectrex homebrew ROM as well (BOMBENHAGEL) and my forums were mentioned in the instructions for Stramash Zone.

Wonder how MaximumRD is doing nowadays.

Re: Land of the Lost (1974)

Unlike many 70's kids or superhero TV shows, this one really holds up. The story has continuity, and is really deep for something that was intended for kids. That's surprising. You can't say that for revisiting a lot of kids' shows decades later! I VERY vaguely remember watching either this or Land ...

How the f do you play this game? I pressed every single key on the keyboard and clicked with the mouse but couldn't get Jumpman to move.

It's an audio recording synchroniser. It interfaces with tape machines and instruments:

Re: The infamous Ring King BJ

That's...pretty...wrong :D I know this is a nearly has been debated forever for the NES game Ring King, but do you guys think it was intentional? Difficult to say (I had to stop myself from saying "hard"... :P ), some things don't end up how they seemed on paper. Lotta movies had really good ideas ...

Shining Force (and other Sega 16-bit) Classics

I just ran across the Shining Force Classics app the other day for the iOS. I assume it's also for Android and various other platforms. This comes with the Sega Genesis (and possibly Megadrive?) RPGs of Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force and Shining Force II. I was never real big on RPGs but I ...

Bizarre indeed. Looks like it's complete though. Have you had a chance to look over the games and "experiments"? Is predicting the weather accurate?

^I think it is. It's not a bad game, as many have rated it higher than I have. Might still be worth checking out.

Hope the guy comes up with area #4 soon. It's been six months since there was a bug fix for an update though.

Tiny Island Survival

I downloaded this game for my iPhone last month, plus there's also an online version available to play. The setup and story are intriguing enough. It bills itself as all play areas fitting onto one screen, so even if playing on a phone you can still see everything. Game commands are simple, as ...

Sometimes it just happens. Maybe the company that released it didn't have much of an advertising budget for it?

Looks cool indeed, with all the tasks and all it's like a bunch of mini-games.

I must admit that I've never listed to anything like it before, but I like it! That's good! :) There's tons of different kinds too, as I've listened to many online concerts since and there's been a pretty good mix of artists. Great story on how you found and got into that type of music! It's so ...

Don't know what others will think of stuff like this but I thought I'd post about it. Hopefully it's not just a rock 'n roll crowd here. If not and people will ever return at least they'll get a bit of new stuff to check out :) An artist named Mortiis started off as the bassist for the death/thrash ...
