I favorite would have to be the Castelvania series. Mainly, Symphony of the Night, Super Castlevania IV, and Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse.

I also love Mega Man 2's soundtrack, and the Samurai Spirits/Showdown series, as well.

Chrono Trigger, Zelda and Metroid.

Y's 3 for the Genesis, I made a nearly half hour recording of that music when I rented it.

Sub-Terrania for the same system also has some good, spacy music to it.

Doom and Doom 2 has decent stuff, as well as Stellar-Fire for the Sega cd, as there's a couple of metal tracks, ambient, the intro is classical, and one piece sounds like it could've been on the Terminator 2 soundtrack; real good dark electronics.

I forgot about the Ys series. One of the best OSTs ever!

To me it's by far Ys: Book I and II for the Turbo Grafx CD-ROM. I was lucky enough to get that game when it was new. Had to be 1991 or 1992.

The Legend of Zelda theme is my favorite, followed by Contra. I've also liked almost all of the music fromt he Mario series.

Is it cheating to say the music that was on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3? I wish they would have put that out on a disc!!
