Your favorite Activision game for Atari 2600
What is everyone's favorite Activision game for the Atari 2600? Mine changes on any given day, but for now it is Keystone Kapers. It was just so much fun, and never gets boring. Other than that I like Pitfall! , River Raid, and Kaboom! Hell, even Boxing is a total blast with a friend.

For as simplistic as it is, I really like Ice Hockey.
I'd say Activision has some really great games, and any one of them could be chosen as one of the best. Do they even have a game that could be considered poor?

These pretzels are making me thirsty!

Cosmic Commuter is a big boring from what I've heard, hadn't played it though. Laser Blast...
H. E. R. O. kicked soooooo much ass, especially considering that it's on a frickin' 2600! I'm glad I was able to get it, it's not hugely rare, but somewhat.

I wasn't too keen on Stampede, but it was alright. Some people also put Pressure Cooker at or near the top. Megamania is also a lot of fun.

Its either Dolphin or Seaquest for me.

I remember playing Decathlon with my parents and my brother - 4 players - It was so much fun! No other game hooked us up like that one.
Pitfall 2 was just so damm good, and HERO too. Truth to be told, Activision meant quality
Man I have to try one of these funny smileys

Pitfall! 2 was amazing for its time. I had the computer version and was stunned of its complexity.cubelindo wrote:I remember playing Decathlon with my parents and my brother - 4 players - It was so much fun! No other game hooked us up like that one.

Ive only played Pitfall 2 for the MSX and have to say it's very well done. its the most "gamelike" game on the Atari probably.
Has a definite goal, a worthy ending, and music!

It's a tie between Keystone Kapers and H.E.R.O. for me.

Spider Fighter all the way! That's one of the few games out there that I can confidently and immodestly say I'm the best player I've ever known of. I'm pretty much average on everything else.

I can't recall ever playing that one. I may have, but I know I've never owned it.Rob wrote:Spider Fighter all the way! That's one of the few games out there that I can confidently and immodestly say I'm the best player I've ever known of. I'm pretty much average on everything else.
