Gen Mobile - Handheld Genesis from Hyperkin

Post by Zap! »

This just came out. It's $54.99, has several games built in, and takes Genesis cartridges. Anyone getting this? Looks interesting. :sonic:

Genesis? Nice.

Sounds interesting. How big and/or good is the screen?

I haven't ordered it, but here is a picture and link to order it, for $56.99. Seems the perfect size:

However, while searching I came across this different unit for just $43.99. Officially licensed? Hmm...

The one with the snowboarder is not licensed and I know that some of you already know, the games are below par. It's the RetroGen, and the better one getting all the good reviews is the GenMobile from Hypekin.

Thanks for the info, I will get the Genmobile. First I'm gonna get the FC 16 Go though, as I prefer the SNES. Hope that one is as good!

Glad I could sell you on it:) j/k, but it has been getting much better reviews as it has Sega games built in, and that snowboarder game I swear is a bad ripoff of Hang On from SMS.

When I can I'll be getting the GenMobile for myself.

So what is the overall feeling on the Gen Mobile? Good or Bad? Anyone spot in good reviews on it anywhere?
