So what are you playing nowadays?

Post by Darryl B. »

I'm mostly centered on my Atari 2600, Vectrex, a handheld Solitaire game and some MAME on here occasionally.

I haven't played jack squat for the last three weeks, as I haven't had the use of my right arm. I take that back, I've found that I can score at least 40,000 points on Missile Command on the 2600 using my foot and my left hand!

Heh!

Sorry to hear about the right arm, my left one has some limited use myself, since I had some surgery on that side of my back recently! Crazy stuff...

Dug out a few surprises last night: 7800 Galaga (got tired of Galaga years ago), Robot Tank (one of the few Activision games that I never really got into), 2600 Mario Bros. (forgot I had that one!). Not a bad evening...

I think I'm gonna play Dark Spire for the DS.

Dunno what exactly, to be honest...just trying to pass the time...

I played Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater last night. I can now truly say that I dislike the entire Metal Gear series. :)

I've always thought of the Metal Gear Solid series as one of the most over-rated series in resistance. Don't get me wrong. I loved Snatcher and Kojima's work, but I just do see what's so great about Metal Gear.

Yep, I've disliked the series since its NES days. When it relaunched during the PS era I gave it a shot but found them to be incredibly boring. I've played a few on the newer consoles and still didn't care for them, but everyone kept telling me Snakeater was the best one. Having finally tried it, I can say that there's not a Metal Gear game created yet that I've found to be entertaining.

Started to play Twilight Princess...but in the end I ended up softmodding my console with the exploit.

Still counts as me playing it, right? :)

I loved that game. I got it a few days after launch, November 2006. Wonder when the next Zelda game (not counting DS versions) will be. Will it even be on the Wii or will it be on their next console? :linkwalkleft:
One burning question that will remain with him until his dying days....."Was my victory really worth the price I had to pay?"
