A pretty good history of the Sonic series, But they did make at least one mistake. They stated that Sonic & Knuckles could hook up to Sonic 1, 2, & 3 but it only works with 2 & 3.

The original, and some say still the best. Sonic the Hedgehog debuted on the Sega Genesis in 1991. Too often games that push the boundaries in graphics and sound can not withstand the test of time, but Sonic retains the sense of speed, tight presentation and addictive than it did in 1991. In short, it's still a mighty good time.

Yep. I've seen many a thread in regards to "I just got a Genesis, what games should I get?" online, and I don't agree with many others that say to get all the Sonic games. I rented 2, 3, and Sonic and Knuckles back in the day, and never cared to get any of them. They were still good, but I didn't see any of them to being a 'must buy'. I still play the original on occasion. And I have the Sonic game for the CD player but don't like that as much as the original either.
