Evil Magician Returns

Who says a game has to be from a commercial company to be good? For those with an anti-corporate leaning, there's nothing like a game from an amateur programmer, especially long after the system has been supported.

Evil Magician Returns

Post by Zap! »

An Atari Age user by the name of "Byte Knight" is selling an Atari 2600 homebrew called Evil Magician Returns. It is an unofficial sequel to the classic game Adventure. In this game there is a Wizard, and he steals back the Enchanted Chalice that you must obtain once more. There are all new path, challenges, creatures, and secrets in the game. He made 20 boxed copies, all of which have been sold (I got 14 of 20). However, if demand is good, he make make more. I can't wait to play this game, but have to find my 2600 ac adapter first. It looks fantastic, check it out!
One burning question that will remain with him until his dying days....."Was my victory really worth the price I had to pay?"
