Driving Crazy: a novel about winning a Crazy Climber auction

Postby Zap! » Tue Apr 27, 2010 4:44 pm

I just ordered this book. It looks fantastic, it's about someone who wins an auction for the arcade game Crazy Climber, and runs into an intresting adventure while picking it up with his best friend. It is only $12.99 plus $3.00 shipping in the US, and he will ship anywhere in the world for an additional small fee. Expect a full review when I get it and finish reading it!

Hi! I heard my name and came a'runnin! :gng-arthur-run: :sonicthehedgehog2:

Thanks, Zap, for buying a copy. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, you'll like it. So far, I've heard a fair amount of praise for my baby, which is always a heart-warming thing.

If anyone is interested, at my website http://www.randypearson.org, there are a couple of excerpts from the novel, as well as some deleted scenes, reviews and all that. You can buy directly from the website, and I also have a Game Gavel auction running. I'm everywhere!
<Sales mode disengaged>

Thanks again! I think I'll look around here and see what's happening!

Cheers,
Smeg

Yeah, do so! This sounds pretty different!

Hope there's lots of classic arcade name-dropping included in it! :D

So far, sales have been moderate... I'm well over 100 copies sold now. I had a couple of book signing events in the area recently, which were a lot of fun. My favorite part was seeing old friends and classmates... One lady I hadn't seen in nearly 25 years! :Dog_Laughing:

I look forward to hearing what you think, Zap!

Cheers,
Smeg

PS - I love these little animated guys! :bonk: :harry_jump: Fantastic!

Great to hear! I look forward to hearing your opinion. I suspect you'll enjoy it.

Oh, I was on the radio yesterday, doing a reading on the MSU college radio station for their Michigan Storytellers segment of IMPACT Exposure. If you'd like to hear it, it's on my website.
