I've got a UK model 3DO today, and it has the UK three-prong plug on it. Now, I know that US games will play on it (NTSC games will play on PAL systems and vice versa) but I've never had to run a PAL system on US current before.

Has anyone done this? I hear that I'll be fine with a standard plug adaptor, but then some folks are saying I need to get a step-up converter that actually swaps the voltage from 110/220 volts.
