Zap! forums turns one year old!

Post by Zap! »

Well, actually it did yesterday (can't believe I let this slip by!). Although Zap! has been on the web since early 1997 via Geocities, the forums went up on Mon Jan 19, 2009, a day after we finally got our own domain name. It's been a fun year, and I have a lot planned in 2010 that will probably bankrupt me. Lots of advertising and business cards, it's gonna be a fun year! Thank you all, whether you have one post or 500, you made a difference!
One burning question that will remain with him until his dying days....."Was my victory really worth the price I had to pay?"

Well, if you go bankrupt, make sure and mention it and ask for donations to keep the site running!

Nice to be here, even if the forums aren't the busiest! It's been good to talk about games again! (Other sites I'm on are dead)

I like the slower pace to the forums, we have a similar speed going on at Out-of-Print as far as activity. While it may seem slow and such, it also makes for a more laid back, easier to feel a part of community (not feeling like I have to check the forums every 5 minutes just to keep up with the goings on).
