Whoa, last post in mid October, and here it is December 2. I haven't been around much, life has been getting in the way a LOT. Hopefully I will have more time really soon.

That'd be nice...it's not even me and the chickens, there aren't any of those either!

Expect a big resurgence soon. I think I finally figured out a way to get more users. Stay tuned.

Posting on baseball forums lol. But this whole "Project Café" thing has totally re-motivated me. Glad to see you're still a daily visitor.

I just joined and am sifting through the forums. Hopefully, I'll be able to offer some unique twists on certain things.

Hey guys! Guess who's back?

Sorry I've been hiding away in my shell and shunning away you guys in the site. The last year and a half was really, really, rough for me. I won't go into too much detail, but with me being unemployed for a year and half, and the stresses of drama and life, I just went into a really dark place and pretty much shut myself off from the world for the most part.

Life is good now though. I'm happily married with a good house in suburbia and about two months ago, I got a job as a contractor with Verizon, so everything is finally getting back on track again.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone again and hopefully we can breathe some new and much needed life back into the site.

I couldn't automatically install a new update, so I have to manually do it, along with updating MYSQL which also wasn't easy. I had to manually remove all the mods I did and then re-install. It created many problems, but one by one I fixed just about all of them. The Arcade was the hardest, but that's working not too. Mini-Chat installed over the old one and there were two going on at once lol. Now, it's just the little things like e-mail notifications, but hopefully that'll work by tomorrow.

More importantly, where are you Carlos?

That wasn't it though, as I'd request for my password or a new one to be sent to my e-mail and it never arrived. I didn't change e-mail addresses either, plus I check my spam folder every day and it wasn't there either. I tried signing up for a new account under "Darryl B.2" or something under another e-mail address and got no notification that that account had been approved either. (Oh yeah, and if that account is still in a queue or something then delete it if you haven't already.)

I'm so sorry that it took so long to get this fixed. I checked and you last logged on January, 2017. I'm not sure what happened, but I need to fix the issue with new users not getting notifications. I know someone joined Sat Aug 18, 2018, but I'll have to see if he's active or not. Either way, I'm glad to have you back my friend!

Yes, it's definitely something to do with the system. Maybe something at phpBB's end?
