What the hell is this system?
I've never heard of it, it was released in 2004, and is still being made.

Re: What the hell is this system?
I actually have one
It's basically a sport system that plays kinda like the Wii. You have different controllers for each game (The controller comes with the game), Bowling- you have a bowling ball you act like your bowling and it makes it happen on screen, Tennis- you have a tennis racket, Baseball- you have a bat, Ect.
It's an ok system but the Wii is better and this only has Sports titles, at least the last time I looked at games.

How many games are there for the system? They're still being released? Ebay currently doesn't have any CIB systems, just checked.Jakenut86 wrote:I actually have one

I only have 4 but that site shows 10 so there are at least that many. I have no idea if they are still making games.

Re: What the hell is this system?
It LOOKS really cool, although graphically it leaves something to be desired.
These pretzels are making me thirsty!
Re: What the hell is this system?
I almost won one a couple of months back. My max bid of 10 dollars almost walked until the last second.
I do have one of the DVD's that came bundled with the system, with Jackie Chan endorsing the games.
I love systems that tried to make a difference that ended up being lost in the fray. Diehard fans of the Xavix claim that Nintendo stole the idea for the Wii.
AFAIK no new games have been released in close to two years. The XAVIX people claim that their system is NOT dead though.

Re: What the hell is this system?
Xavix is just bullcrap system trying to get the most for there dollar.
1. They don't even know what there getting into.
2. All they made was just interactive device for television.
3. Failure
The Saturn has better graphics then that for starters or even the NES. The thing is unaractive and looks like a moderate Blu-ray player.
If I was on there salary as a advertisment advisement with rights
maybe they would get somewhere. All I see is another joke waiting to be poked.
This is just sad.
They got ( Old Man ) Jackie Chan in his famous red shirt ( or whatever red shirt )
running around in the streets to get a work out.....
This is what I do every morning. Which does give you a work out but not enough to be Jackie Chan.
I mean from the looks of this image it looks like a graphically good system but
I mean why bother releasing this junk. I bet the persons behind this system knows it might fail
so they just gave it enough juice to get back a fair amount.
Another thing it is not like the Wii.

Just walk away and you can live. Just walk away and it all can be over. Dont bother responding.
Re: What the hell is this system?
I think that system (not sure though) is like the Microvision in a way, where it doesn't have a CPU, the cartridges do. If it wasn't this one it was some other rare system.TwinChargers wrote:It LOOKS really cool, although graphically it leaves something to be desired.
No, I'm pretty sure it's this one, since, when I looked it up, things were also said about it coming out before the Wii.

Re: What the hell is this system?
You may be thinking about the original Odyssey. The games actually had the CPU unit and the system was basically a jumper conduit for the cartridge.I think that system (not sure though) is like the Microvision in a way, where it doesn't have a CPU, the cartridges do. I agree with you, but basically that same argument could be leveled against the Wii as well. They got ( Old Man ) Jackie Chan in his famous red shirt ( or whatever red shirt )

I would, based on what I saw, date the graphics as PS 1 era. The graphics flow a lot smoother though, like something out of the PS2 era.
Re: What the hell is this system?
No, this was a much newer system, it only came out a few years ago...the Odyssey is much older than that.Rob wrote:You may be thinking about the original Odyssey. Yeah, here it is (the reply's still in my YouTube account), dated December 17:
Actually, the Xavix has no CPU, either. The CPU is in the carts.
