Still haven't had a chance to go to the PO to check my mail. They are probably already there. Well I'll let you know what I think as soon as I get time off enough to get there.

Re: AVGN- Angry Video Game Nerd discussion thread
Yeah, that was kinda off. I have never had a 5200 but I have heard the controllers are prone to malfunction, but that doesn't mean the system sucks just the controllers. I thought it was pretty funny that he used the storage area for his beer :) but again why does the fact that it had an area to hol...

Re: What the hell is this system?
How many games are there for the system? They're still being released? Ebay currently doesn't have any CIB systems, just checked. There is a CIB system on Ebay now, w/ a CIB Tennis game http://cgi.ebay.com/XaviX-interactive-video-game-system-w-TENNIS-like-Wii_W0QQitemZ130284854986QQcmdZViewItemQQpt...

Re: Games you hate that everyone else likes
The side scrolling Duke Nukem games were on the PC, no? I never played any PC games at the time, so I missed out on the side scrollers. The first DN game I played was DN64, and I think the one on the PSOne. Yeah they were on PC, Duke I & 2 were pretty good and came before Duke 3D. Then another ...

Also found this one for GBA which looks pretty good though I haven't spent much time playing it yet. It's a action-adventure sorta like Legend of Zelda. The thing I like about this one is you can buy it on a cart as I have no Idea how to put games onto a cart, and I'd rather play on the system its m...

Looking for some good homebrew games to get for my GBA I came across this one. Its a pretty good sidescrolling shooter that was going to be an official release but never got a publisher. After the developer shut down they released the game (which was completely finished) for free. http://neopong.com...

I only have 4 but that site shows 10 so there are at least that many. I have no idea if they are still making games.

Re: What the hell is this system?
I actually have one :D It's basically a sport system that plays kinda like the Wii. You have different controllers for each game (The controller comes with the game), Bowling- you have a bowling ball you act like your bowling and it makes it happen on screen, Tennis- you have a tennis racket, Baseba...

Re: The Nintendo Sixtyfree Lite-R?
In the link you posted they say it has no batteries and has to be plugged in. Which is kinda a drawback as you can only use it near a power outlet or a car if you could find a cigarette adapter for it.

The "D" stands for directional. Directional Pad.Ter wrote: Perhaps I should not have said d-pad, but said cross-pad (Where is there a "D" anyway?).

I just came across this game while looking for games to play on my Mac. It's pretty cool as its a free game in the style of the old DOS game X-Com. I think it is much better then a lot of the commercial games based on X-Com. Its still a work in progress though mostly complete and works on PC, Mac an...

Re: Newest Video Game Finds
Well I finally decided to replace my GBA as I found one for $10 and I also got Dragons Lair for GBC ($5) and Warioware Twisted for GBA ($8). I just need to get a replacement screen as the one on it is pretty scratched up and the battery cover is broken.
