Re: Bible Fight and Path of the Jedi

Ha ha, my sister's kid was playing this weeks ago. Not bad, jumping needed to be tweaked a bit, it's kind of difficult to get on some platforms and all. Plus you can coast through several missions but then suddenly get your butt pummeled on one.

All-encompassing joke thread

Upon being new and looking around, I saw a lot of jokes scattered around in here, and just thought one thread would do that we could add to... Starting things off, here's a favorite of mine, along with one I got in an e-mail: One day a woman stopped at the meat section of a local grocery store and s...

Nay, maybe you're just slow in getting them, or something.

Least you got one of the top of the line, though!

Re: What's your favorite classic Atari System?

5200 has a pretty good, albeit small library. Very good arcade translations, except for Space Invaders, that's different than the original.

Heh!

Sorry to hear about the right arm, my left one has some limited use myself, since I had some surgery on that side of my back recently! Crazy stuff...

"Not I", said the cat. Need them "gorrilla hands", I suppose (I might have the hair of one; does that count?)

So what are you playing nowadays?

I'm mostly centered on my Atari 2600, Vectrex, a handheld Solitaire game and some MAME on here occasionally.

Old vs. new

Of course there's room in our lives (or not?) for both, just wanted to see what y'all preferred. I recently went back to my Sega Genesis and CD games, then my good ol' Atari 2600. The 2600 games are better for quick gaming bursts; Genesis and CD are annoying when you have chronic fatigue and have to...

Re: Hello Compadres!

No problem about the English, you write about as well as any twit where English is their first language (with no dig on you there)! I'm sure you'll be easily understood. Cool about liking video game music, something some people (usually non-gamers, or maybe play Pac-Man occasionally, and that's it) ...

Re: Things about your collection that irk you

Does Goo Gone help, or is that only to remove the sticky residue after you take off a label? I'm not sure. Me, is having a lot of 2600 games with just the instructions and games, no boxes. I lost just about all of them when I fell behind in storage unit rent and they were legally able to go in and s...

Re: Merchandise you've got

Unfortunately http://www.vectrex.nl/ is sold out of them. Actually mine was free since they wanted a review of Mine Storm, so I wrote one and snagged it that way ;) Hell, I wouldn't mind having their previous Berzerk t-shirt, even though I didn't like that port that much, I just liked the shirt! Hop...

Jurassic Park and The Haunting Starring Polterguy endings?

I rented, but never beat either game for the Genesis, and just wanted to know if anyone on here knows how either or both game ended. The Haunting was definitely original and funny as anything, but not that great a game; I was at the end of the game during only the first day of rental, but never got ...
