Re: Spectravideo CompuMate
Ah, I gotcha. For some reason I always had Spectravideo and Starpath confused. Which one of them was originally called the Arcadia? Was that Starpath?

Re: Nolan Bushnell re-joins Atari
Same here. I don't really care much either way, but it pisses me off the way some people act as though Bushnell never did anything at all for videogaming. I got into a bit of a flamewar over at DP because of it.

That's clear abuse of attorney powers. The judge should disbar that creep and penalize him with court costs and defendant reimbursement.

Re: Atari 2600 Air Raid box found?
There's not a lot of games out there that I go "holy crap, that's so rare I want to sell my first born child for it". Air Raid is one of those games. Two sealed AV games? Yeah, that's sell my left testicle kind of rare. (Which two games are they, BTW?) If he didn't take you up on the offer...

Question about Euro consoles playing on US current
I've got a UK model 3DO today, and it has the UK three-prong plug on it. Now, I know that US games will play on it (NTSC games will play on PAL systems and vice versa) but I've never had to run a PAL system on US current before. Has anyone done this? I hear that I'll be fine with a standard plug ada...

I just got a working one off craigslist for 40.00. Came with Mario Tennis, too. I've been playing it for a few days and it's really a fun game. I don't know much about the other carts but Mario Tennis at least is a blast, well worth what I payed for it. It was missing the stand and the controller, w...

No Sega mags in this batch, but I have an extra copy of Nin. Fun Club Vol 2, #7. Sports Wrap Up '88 cover. (I also found issue #2 but I'm holding on to that one!)

Lots of vintage Nintendo Powers FT
Well, my folks just sent me a box of magazines that they found in the attic, stuff left over from when I was a kid. I haven't gone through anything except the Nintendo Powers. I've replaced most of the early issues already, so all of them just about were doubles of issues I already had. They are all...

Re: Top 15 Most Influential Driving Games of All Time
What, no Rad Racer, RoadBlasters, Excite Bike, RC ProAm, or Grand Prix? Any and all of these are more influential than half that list. Hell where is Night Driver? That was probably the most influential driving game of all time and it's not even on the list!

Re: The Rarest and Most Valuable NES Games
You know, when something like that happens, I just chalk it up to "it wasn't meant to be." That's how I keep from killing myself when I sell something like BBB for 40.00 bucks and then ten years down the road guys are willing to plunk down a solid grand on it.
