Re: Getting an ATARI 5200 and YOU CANNOT TALK ME OUT OF IT!
Its not a crappy system at all, just the controllers. That's like trying to blame the Jaguar for being crap for having several ports (Flashback) that weren't any better than the Genesis versions (when that was gaming companies' fault, NOT the Jaguar's) and for not exploiting the power of the system ...

Re: Anyone like abandoned places?
I'm bumping this up for a couple of updates... One, I came across something in regards to the abandoned steel factory. I still haven't gone downtown yet to do some research on it though, but I did just found a report online about how its former site had to be cleaned up due to contaminants in the so...

Re: Sonic History
Yep. I've seen many a thread in regards to "I just got a Genesis, what games should I get?" online, and I don't agree with many others that say to get all the Sonic games. I rented 2, 3, and Sonic and Knuckles back in the day, and never cared to get any of them. They were still good, but I...

Knowing them, probably not much, MAYBE $200 tops. Because I know the other arcade games I'd seen there (the Atari Football one and whatever the Sega one was) were $150 at most, maybe not even that much (I think the Football was only $50 or $100). (*still depressed* )

Oh...my...GOD (pinball machine)
So I went to this flea market last Sunday not far from the house. I went to resale shops over a few days' period since I had transportation for several days (my car's out of commission for now). Actually there's one within walking distance that I'd walk to once a week but I quit doing that months ag...

Spy Hunter, good choice!
Granted, they probably want strictly just driving games though, but good for you to think up that one though

Nope, graphics are too good to be an O2 game...
Looks somewhat like some kind of Ghost or Haunted something game for the SMS, forget what it's called exactly, but that's probably not it either (don't think your character had pointed ears).

$2000 IS too much. And you only get in trouble if you take someone's stuff (even with permission) when you're driving? Yeah, I'm confused too.

Houston gaming expo :)
It's that time of the year again, where hundreds of coin-op video games (mostly from the 'classic' 80s era), usually some home consoles and games, and pinball games (from the 1930s to the present) can be played, and all set for free play! October 8-9 in northwest Houston, for $20.00 a day, $30 for a...

Yeah there isn't much of anything I check in regards to selling something...occasionally there will be some link to an e-bay auction somewhere and I'll look at that, but that's about it.

Re: New Karate Kid trailer
So, anyone going to see/have seen this one?
My mom took the nephew to it today. Both of them liked it a bit. Heard it's a bit darker than the original, the kid goes through some brutal bullying in the movie. But at #1 at the box office (for now) it looks like it's off to a pretty good start.

Re: Want a pinball machine? Then go to...Costco?!
Actually it appears that they sell the *regular* arcade games too, since someone wanted a photo of one when I put it up on another forum, and I came across the Wheel of Fortune machine for $4,000 when I did a search on the Costco site...so I assume that's the original arcade version. Unfortunately I...

Want a pinball machine? Then go to...Costco?!
I got this e-mail from a gaming expo mailing group that I'm on. Interesting... Stern Pinball is conducting a limited market test exclusively in select Costco stores, offering a modified version of the Batman pinball designed for the consumer market. The initial test involves 48 Batman games with few...
