Re: Some of the (still good!) more obscure Genesis games
Rocket Knight Adventures! Totally fun and I've been playing it for about a week now when I have time. Someone told me it's a Sonic rip-off but I don't see it. Sonic has no jetpack, does not fight AT-STs and the music here does not compare (as far as melodies, the soundtrack on this is excellent!). N...

Re: Mattel HyperScan
The only thing that will keep the Hyperscan in the minds of gamers is if any homebrews come out for it. There's no security of any kind on it, the disks can be copied with any freeware copy program. It uses a really strange language to be programmed in, so that makes it hard. I have four of these th...

Re: How do you store your gaming magazines?
I only have a few compared to yours. But I do have about two years worth of Game Informer and GamPro. Most are in mylar bags (got a great deal, on a bunch a long time ago) but the GI's don't fit, they're larger than average.

Re: If you could only own four consoles...
This one's easy:
7800, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast.
Personally I can live without anything Nintendo, being limited to four consoles only. I wish I could have only four computers (C128, Tandy 1000SL, 800XL, and 520STFM)

Re: Just want to clear the air...
You should definitely get another Genesis. Not sure why yours is gone, as no collection is complete without, what, two or three? I have a few, they are must-haves

Re: Why are all the COOL Sega handhelds stuck in China??
If you have a PSP then yeah, this thing is blown out of the water by it. Still, a handheld Genesis that isn't a GG or Nomad is really cool. Especially if it's Linux ready. Working on that part, too.

Re: Games you like that everyone else hates
I have had people tell me they hate Slave Zero on the Dreamcast, but I like it. The only thing about it are the load screens, they get to me. But gameplay is fun.

Re: Why are all the COOL Sega handhelds stuck in China??
Interest check , I am referring to the same pic as before, sorry but cross-posted. Couldn't be helped. I am purely seeing what the demand may look like. There is a deal in the works for me, and I want to see how people would react to: A) A portable game system that uses SD cards/MD/Genesis cart ada...

Re: Why are all the COOL Sega handhelds stuck in China??
It's a clone of the portable mega Drive for sale at play-asia. I'll call to see if he can get them with SD-cart adapters tomorrow, and that will side-step the whole licensing process as a homebrew device. I'd for sure pay fifty bucks for something like that. It isn't a GP-anything or a Pandora, but ...

Bible Fight and Path of the Jedi
These two games I really like and cannot imagine how they didn't make it to a console somewhere. http://www.adultswim.com/games/game/index.html?game=biblefight http://theclonewars.cartoonnetwork.com/games/game_02_ext.html Just fun ones. What is NOT fun about being Eve and whacking the heck out of No...

Why are all the COOL Sega handhelds stuck in China??
I take a look at the global selling sites like made-in-china.com and a few others and I find these: http://www.made-in-china.com/china-products/productviewIlnmOSxrYQyj/Portable-16-Bit-Sega-Game-with-3-0-quot-TFT-Display-GBA-PL-16H-.html And cn never find them for sale here. The main reason I ask is ...

Hiya from El Paso!
The first thing I saw was the excellent animated icons on the left :) MaximumRD showed me this site, and I've got to give him KUDOS!! I live in El Paso, and am a networking student. I have my Associates already, but am going back for a few small classes here and there to really round out the whole c...
