Re: Grrr! Mega Man X can kiss my ass!

I never understood why so many people love that game. That game is impossible. I can never make it past the second level! I try playing it every once in a while though. It's one of those games I really, really want to enjoy, but just can't. I never understood that too... My main gripe with Mega Man...

Re: More SNES games

Oh, I really like Killer Instinct. I still have trouble beating Idol. Things never change. :)

My favorite character is Jago, followed by Orchid. I always found Cinder and Glacius to be unfairly cheap.

Re: Grrr! Mega Man X can kiss my ass!

Don't get me wrong. I consider myself to be a decent gamer and I remember this game being very hard, but there's a HUGE difference in being difficult, and being cheap. I swear, I almost snapped my new SNES controller in half! Don't worry, you will get used to it. It's notthat terribly hard once you...

The Nomad is great, but you can find it cheaper. Got my loose copy for $40.

I am trying to find a damaged unit, but with a good condition LCD...

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

Zillion was awesome, and deserved a real sequel. I hated Zillion 2. Transbot was the closest thing we had in the US to a Transformers game. I liked AK the Lost Stars too, but really liked AK In High Tech World. How about Rambo: First Blood Part II? That's a fun game and a challenge. Pro Wrestling i...

Re: Regarding spam bots

The funny thing is it's pointless yelling at a bot. They aren't even human. I can ban IP's with the * string, but most of those bots are from totally different IP's. :( Darn...I thought most shared the same IP string. Or at least make it be somewhat "universal". My next suggestions would ...

Re: New job FTW!!!!!

I live in PR... :( I remember the last computer related job i had...it was at CompUSA as a PC tech. I remember how the manager would tell me to repair at least a computer a day. Everyone would do at least 2-3 a week, while I would do like 7 daily. And it wasn't hard, trust me...the easiest were lapt...

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

I always wondered why Sega never re-released SMS games on cart over here, specially with the release of the SMS 2.

Or at least a converter...a piggy back that would allow even 3D games to be played on the smaller unit.

Does anyone actually believe in 12/21/2012?

So a few months ago, I was bored out of my mind, when all of a sudden I started surfing YouTube and saw a video of something called the "Nibiru". I was curious at what this thing was, so I saw the video...supposedly it's a planet coming on Dec. 12, 2012 that will cause the end of planet Ea...

Re: Option Menu- are you a conformist or a rebel? :)

I configure controls for FPS games. I got used to the shoulder buttons being strafe buttons. I really dislike using the right analog stick to look and turn. I make the dpad or left analog to go foward, back, turn left and right. Shoulder buttons to strafe. And if it's a PS controller, L2 and R2 to l...

Re: Regarding spam bots

Good point, Daryl. The spammers never respond back so it's useless. I think it's possible to ban their originating IP...I think Ter can trace the IP from each post and ban them, something like this: 192.168.*.* Where * is a wildcard. So any address with the first two parts will not enter or even be ...

Re: So...

I'll be honest...between DP and AA, I prefer DP. I tried AA, but I noticed an aura that I did not like one bit. It wasn't a hostile one...more like a snobbish one. I really can't explain it, and I deeply apologize for the comment, but every time I went to that site, I noticed it more and more. It ju...

Started to play Twilight Princess...but in the end I ended up softmodding my console with the exploit.

Still counts as me playing it, right? :)

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

Yeah, I think the reason it was my first game is because in April 1987 my mom didn't want to spend much money and told me to get a Sega card game, as the cards were cheaper. I first picked Teddy Boy. I didn't like it and returned it for Ghost House. Teddy Boy I picked up because when I was very you...

Re: Regarding spam bots

:)

I admit...I fed the trolls. I just get very angry when I see stupid bots or people advertise their spam...makes me cringe so bad. :(

But duty noted, I will now report all spam accordingly and quickly!

But is there any way to ban their incomming IPs as well?

Ugh I know.

That is why I like a controller with six buttons in the front...I HATE shoulder buttons.

Re: Option Menu- are you a conformist or a rebel? :)

Depends really.

Most of the time I just accept the way things are. But if they really bust my chops, I change them. I've even gone as far as rewiring a controller to work the way I want! :)

Re: Good games for Sega Master System?

You guys were lucky. Ghost House was one I missed out on as a kid, and didn't acquire until early adulthood. I would have played the pure crap out of it otherwise. It's well worth it! It might be a tad hard at first, but it's really a great game overall. There are only six rounds, but the first thr...

I got my ass served quit a few times, specially on the last battle with Sigma's head. Even now I have problems tackling him.

I always found the X series harder than the regular series...but not quite as memorable.
