Re: Super Punch-Out!! and Ken Griffey Jr's Winning Run

I can't wait for the Wii version. One of the very few Wii games I'm really looking forward to.

I just meant that I just want a nice vinal record player with decent quality sound. Nothing fancy like a crazy turntable.

Super Punch-Out!! and Ken Griffey Jr's Winning Run

I picked both games today after work. Haven't played Griffey yet. I never played SPO until today. Man, what a fun game. Plays just like the original, and the characters are great. Bob Charlie and Dragon Chan are hilarious, although Chan's jump kick is retarded as shit... THERE'S NO FUCKING KICKING I...

Anyone collect Laserdiscs or vinal records?

What's a decent and affordable "starter" model for a Laserdisc player?

Does anyone still make vinal record players? (DJ turntables and that ghetto shit doesn't count).

Re: LOL Swine Flu

There is still mass hysteria here in North Texas. Fiance and I went to Wal-Mart for groceries and stuff like hand sanitizer and wipes are cleaned out. Two major school districts in the area have shut down for a week, and my fiance told me today that they're talking about possibly shutting down the d...

What was the first gaming item you bought on your own?

And by that, I mean without money you were given by parents, family, or childhood chores.

For me, it was a Nintendo 64 with Turok. I got it with my very first paycheck from my very first job sacking groceries for Tom Thumb my freshman year of high school.

Re: Sega Boy is back!

*Wings of Wor *Kolibri 32X *Doom 32X I enjoyed all of these. I had rented WoW years ago and liked it, own the other two (and wouldn't mind owning the other ;) ). Granted, you've probably played better versions of Doom, it's ridiculous there's no way to save a game of it or go back to it via passwor...

Sega Boy is back...and gone again!

So the Genesis/32X bundle I got from CTCW came in today. I picked it up and played for a few minutes during my lunch break. I never owned a 32X before, but for the little time I got to test it out, it looks impressive. I looking forward to playing Star Wars Arcade when I get home. Looks like I won't...

I wish the graphics were updated like SF2THDR, but I'll settle for slightly less updated graphics, lol.

Looking for specific issues of Nintendo Power

Anyone know what issues of Nintendo Power had the stickers that went over the old NES controllers that had cool designs (like the one that had the face and the start and select buttons were the eyes. Like the one AVGN uses). I'm also looking for the NP that had the same stickers, but went over the G...

Re: Good Dreamcast Games??

All dreamcast games are buyable. I mean there is not that much to choose from when the majority of games was meant for the Saturn to begin with. EDIT: Also Chase the Chuck wagon is just Game Gavel. A completely pointless investment. People can't even see what is being listed. Do you guys still feel...

Re: Jesus has returned and he's a soda now!

I tried the Moutain Dew Throwback late last night. I love it. It tastes just like Pepsi Throwback. Very smooth taste and not overly sweet like the original. The amount of sweetness is just right. Rob, to answer your question, from what I've read, it's supposed to be out for 6-8 weeks according to Pe...

It funny you mention that because the 12 pack of cans were non-existent. I wanted those to put in my lunch for work, lol.

Jesus has returned and he's a soda now!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z303/bigloco8099/image_pepsithrowbackmountaindewthro.jpg So after two weeks of searching high and low, one of my local Wal-Marts finally got Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback in 20oz. bottles. For those not in the know, Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwback ar...
