Re: Oho jee!

I will be recording and uploading vidoes on Youtube probably next month with reviews on extremely rare items including controllers, accessories, demos, and games that really haven't been covered anywhere, at least to the depth that I'm going for. I'm not going to give away what the first review is ...

Re: What's your favorite classic Atari System?

If computers count, the Atari 8-bit line are serious contenders. Always liked them better than the Commodore 64/128. To me, they were easier too.

Re: Do you own an arcade machine?

Here's a nice blurry pic of me in 1990 in my old room next to my prized possession, Kung-Fu Master. The stone-washed jeans and mullet add an extra retro feel. :D

Cohen's Towers

Anyone remember this game? As a kid, for some reason The Boss reminded me of my landlord at the time. When he used to come by to collect the rent, the tune of The Boss when he comes out always played in my head lol! Anyway, I just tried it for the first time in about 20 years. I was worried the flop...

Amazon Prime Day (July 15th): Better than Black Friday?

For Amazon's 20th anniversary, Prime members are supposedly getting deals better than Black Friday. So anyone going to be sitting in front of their computers all day? :xmas:

Re: Prototypes from the Big Names

Looking at http://www.atarimuseum.com/mainmenu/mainmenu.html , there were a few that caught my eye recently. I have heard of the Atari Cosmos, but the Spector (both using holographic images)? Aparently the 2600 wasn't there first cart based system either, that award goes to the Atari Game Brain. Th...

Fighting Street (Turbo Grafx CD-ROM): most underrated opening theme ever?

Ever since I first got Fighting Street (Street Fighter I) for my Turbo Grafx CD-ROM in 1990, I have always thought that the initial music (when you are selecting the countries) is one of the greatest opening themes ever in a video game. Am I crazy or does anyone agree? You decide: https://www.youtub...

What is your favorite music from Outrun?

What is your favorite of the three main Outrun tunes, and do you switch it up or do you stay on one station? Growing up in the late 80's, I always chose Magical Sound Shower. However, as I got older, I now favor Passing Breeze. It starts off slow, but I think what gives it an edge is from 1:29 to 2:...

How low is your Model 1 Genesis' serial number?

I recently started reading on some other forums about low Sega Genesis serial numbers. I have had my Genesis since August, 1989, so I knew it would be very low. My number is 39S13220. Now, the first number the factory it was made in (in my case, Taiwan). The second letter is the last digit of the ye...
